Have You Missed My Weekly Quotes? #1-6 Tuesday Tells & Tattles

As long as I can remember to do so, I spotlight special quotes that mean something to me on social media. They are called Tuesday Tells & Tattles and the subjects range from serious and life-changing to silly and senseless. As an HR professional, you just need these to get you through the day! Some of the quotes are my own rants, raves, and sayings and some are from celebrities, pioneers, or they remain anonymous.

I thought I would do a blogpost collection of six together just in case you missed them and I may have added a little flair too! Enjoy and if you love them, please share them!

When I was young, I used to sing a song that included the first sentence below. For some strange reason, I thought I made it up but clearly I didn’t! I never knew the rest of the quote – I love it! Don’t be a damn fool!

The next quote is quite interesting and so, so honest! I don’t think it is a coincidence that nobody knows who said it. In fact, perhaps somebody out there knows and is keeping it secret?

In my opinion, we all have various levels of insaneness. So why would anyone want to work in HR? This is why.

HR What #3

Have you ever been frustrated to the point you journal your thoughts? I do this and one day I was reviewing my ‘notes’ app and came across an interesting rant of my own. I edited it a bit because, well, you shouldn’t really use bad language.

It was 2016 – an election year – THE election year. Need I say more?

This next one is my own as well! I do not have kids and work from home, so this is self-explanatory! Ahhhhhhh……

This quote really does bring things into perspective. While cats have 9 lives, we really only have 1 life – cherish it, succeed in it, love it, learn from it, LIVE IT!!

I found this last quote quite interesting. When you think about it, we create our own destiny. Maybe we can only create ourselves when we figure out ourselves? Hmmmm…

I just love quotes and really like to find ones that are not overused or cliche. While the 1st one is a bit familiar, there was way more to it than I realized! In my HR career, quotes are important in training, for display, to generate conversation, and to have a laugh!
